The triangular step acts as a landing. In order for the steps to be leveled with the desired floor, a 90° rotation or more might be necessary. The stair tower is composed of a base, with 1 to 8 modules that are easy to assemble with a crane and a barrier gate at the top (maximum height 20m10). The build which uses only collective protection (no safety harness) is simple and fast with only 4 screws per module. Each module is fitted with fold-away guardrails that are attached at one end. The Escalib tower can be moved by crane. Its compact size makes it easy to set up even in cramped sites.
